This notice explains how Hyper Business Solutions (HBS) handles personal information in connection with this website and enquiries about our digital services. It does not replace any privacy or data-processing terms agreed for a particular client project.

Who is responsible for your information?

HBS is responsible for information you provide when contacting us about our services. You can contact us at info@hyperbusltd.com, by telephone on +234-807-989-5455, or at Block 3, Flat 5, Kwali Close, Area 8, Garki, Abuja, Nigeria. Please use “Privacy request” as your email subject for questions about your information.

Information covered by this notice

Our contact form asks for your name, email address, subject and an optional message. If you contact us by telephone or email, we also receive the information you choose to share about your organisation, project and requirements. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or sensitive personal records through the general enquiry form.

Website hosting and security systems can process technical information such as your IP address, browser details, requested pages and access times. Where comments are enabled, WordPress processes the information entered in the comment form and technical details used to help identify spam. Account cookies support authorised users signing in and managing the website.

Why we use information

Depending on the circumstances, the basis for this processing is taking steps you request before a contract, performing a contract, meeting legal obligations, or our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and protecting our systems. Where consent is required, we will request it separately. Sending an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to a marketing list.

Who may receive information?

Access is limited to people who need information to handle your enquiry or provide the agreed service, and service providers supporting functions such as hosting, email and technical maintenance. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights. Our policy is not to sell enquiry information or disclose it for unrelated third-party marketing.

Some hosting, email or technical providers may process information outside Nigeria. Where this occurs, HBS must assess the applicable transfer requirements and safeguards. You can contact us for information about the providers relevant to your enquiry or engagement.

How long information is kept

Our retention policy for general enquiries that do not become client engagements is up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact, unless an ongoing request, dispute or legal obligation justifies a longer period. At the end of that period, information should be deleted or anonymised through our record-review process.

Client contracts, project records and financial records may need to be retained for longer to deliver services, meet legal requirements or resolve disputes. Their retention is assessed according to those purposes rather than the general-enquiry period. Security records should be retained only as long as needed for protection and investigation. Backup copies may remain until the relevant backup cycle expires; provider-managed records are subject to the provider’s retention arrangements.

Cookies, analytics and external services

Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager are not enabled in this website release. Necessary website and account functions may use cookies. If optional analytics or marketing tools are introduced, this notice and any required consent controls must be updated before those tools are enabled.

External links, including our social-media links, lead to services with their own privacy notices. Embedded content or externally supplied resources, where used, may cause your browser to contact another provider. You can control cookies through your browser, although blocking necessary cookies can affect sign-in and other functions.

Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law and relevant exceptions, you may request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact HBS using the details above. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity before responding.

You may also raise a concern with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. You do not have to contact us first to exercise your right to complain to the regulator.

Security and changes to this notice

We aim to use appropriate access controls and technical safeguards, but no website or email system can guarantee complete security. Tell us promptly if you believe your information has been misused. We will update this notice when the website or our processing arrangements materially change and show the updated date above.
